Ted: it's not gonna happen is it?
Robin: sorry.
Ted: it's because of Barney
Robin: what? no. Barney and i. no, no. it, it's just. the things have just been so crazy lately. everything in my life is unstable. i mean, you're one of the few things that i can count on. i really don't want to mess that up. we, we still have our deal right? when we're both still single when we're forty?
Ted: yeah, yeah.. no, look, i'm sorry. i can't do that anymore. as long as the door is even a little bit open, i have this feeling that i'll just be waiting around to see if i win the lottery when you turn forty. i think you know how you feel about me now, and i don't think time's gonna change that. just tell me, do you love me?
Robin: no.
Ted: i'm sorry. we're great as friends. it's just, let's just, forget i ever said anything.
Ted: bar, alone, now.
Marshall: it's just a bump in the road, you guys are meant to be together. you can't give up. it can still happen.
Ted: no, Marshall,
Marshall: what about that hot air balloon thing with the ten dozen roses? and how's the sonnet comin', buddy?
Ted: dude, you bet on the wrong horse, let it go. believe it or not, i'm happy about this. i'm, i can finally move on. this is a good thing. really.
Marshall: hey, Robin
Robin: oh hey, hey uh look before i forget, here's Lily's hairdryer. i borrowed it like a million years ago.
Marshall: yeah, you can keep that. uhm hey listen, Ted told me what happened with you guys and he says that he's appeased with it.
Robin: oh really, that's good.
Marshall: he's lyin' Robin. he's tryin' to be strong but it's killing him and so, as his bestfriend, i have to say something that he loves you just way too much to say. you've got to move out.
Robin: i know.
